Lawbre Museum Quality Doll House Shells
| Lawbre dollhouses are the Cadillac of the dollhouse world. Though they only make about a nine different models, these are some of the finest houses you will find that are commercially manufactured. The company went out of business for a few months in March 2001, but returned to operation by the end of 2001. These houses have full
10" ceiling heights and are made from quality 3 and 5 ply 3/8" plywood that is mill-cut.
The company does NOT make kits, so house shells must be purchased already assembled. They arrive in wooden crates by delivery truck. Component finishing packs containing all of the pre-made windows, doors, shingles, rails, porch posts, trim, brackets, siding and much more are sold separately. They range in price from under $1,000 to just over $5,000. There is a crating charge of $120-$200 on each Lawbre doll house. Shipping can be, generally $100 to $300, up to $800 or more depending on location, and is not included in the price of the dollhouse. Lawbre dollhouses come Freight Collect meaning you write a check to the trucking company when they deliver it.
Orders usually take 6-12 weeks to process plus shipping time and must be pre-paid. They can NOT be shipped by UPS or US Mail, they must be shipped by freight service such as Ground Freight Truck or FedEx Air Freight.
